Chemistry workflows

Keep reaction series and measurements on the same calendar.

From sample preparation to a sequence of analytical measurements, BenchCadence makes dependent work visible without forcing chemistry into a cell-culture workflow.

The scheduling app is currently in Japanese. English-language product pages are available now; a fully translated interface is in development. Plans are stored only in your browser—export regular backups.

Build a sequential measurement plan

Set a trigger date, then list sequential steps. For example, after reagents arrive, plan three days of measurements. For suitable workflows, automatically skip registered non-working days and Japanese holidays.

Example: preparation through analysis

Reagent received → Next working day: prepare sample A → Next working day: measure condition B → Next working day: measure condition C → Following appointment: analyze data.

Separate work types

  • Use 'experiment/measurement' tasks for laboratory work, and meeting tasks for journal clubs or routine discussions.
  • Mark deadline-sensitive measurements as important for prominence in the calendar.
  • Recurring weekly or biweekly meetings can be registered once.
  • The experiment-gap suggestion is conservative: it only considers registered experiments within the current month.

Where it fits

Helpful for bench chemistry, materials experiments, instrument-based analyses and other sequences of related tasks. The planner does not predict actual instrument availability, chemical compatibility or reaction safety.
