FOR EVERY RESEARCH DISCIPLINE

Different disciplines. Familiar scheduling challenges.

Culture changes, chemistry measurements, biophysics assays, materials characterization and recurring meetings all need careful coordination. BenchCadence is a free calendar for students and laboratory researchers.

RESEARCH FIELDS

Where it can help

01

Cell biology & regenerative medicine

Plan seeding, passaging, medium changes, observation days and readouts.

02

Molecular biology & microbiology

Organize protocols, incubations, sample preparation and deadlines.

03

Biochemistry & biophysics

Track assays, reaction timelines and sequential instrument measurements.

04

Analytical & organic chemistry

Coordinate preparation, instrument runs, interpretation and reporting.

05

Physical chemistry & materials science

Plan sample preparation, characterization and repeated measurements.

06

Undergraduate & graduate research

Combine seminars, journal clubs, recurring meetings and lab tasks.

These are practical use cases, not claims of validated research workflows.

CHEMISTRY WORKFLOWS

Every step, on one calendar.

From reagent arrival and sample preparation to sequential measurements and analysis.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Is BenchCadence free?

Yes. The public beta is free. Plans are stored inside the current browser, so regular backups are important.

Is there a template for every discipline?

Current templates focus on cell culture and sequential chemistry workflows. They are editable planning examples, not scientific protocols.

Does it replace an ELN or Google Calendar?

It specializes in date-linked lab work. It is not an electronic laboratory notebook, shared equipment-booking system or validated scientific tool.
